Position Summary
Postdoctoral scholars are sought to carry out computational research on biophysical questions in the Feig lab.
Research topics will focus on biomolecular condensates, crowded cellular environments, and, more generally, exploration of the sequence-structure-dynamics-function relationships of biomolecules in cellular environments.
Research will involve a range of computational techniques, including classical molecular simulations at different levels of resolution and the development and application of neural network models, including generative modeling approaches.
Candidates are expected to conduct research independently, apply and develop advanced computational methods, communicate findings internally at regular intervals, disseminate results externally through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, collaborate with other group members as appropriate, and assume mentoring responsibilities for junior lab members.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Computational Science or closely related field.
Minimum Requirements
- Research experience applying computational methods to biological systems
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- First-author peer-reviewed publication(s)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience conducting and analyzing molecular dynamics simulations
- Experience using high-performance computing platforms
- Experience developing neural network models
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools for software development
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams, including collaborations with experimentalists
