What does the job look like?

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fuel Tanker Operator to join our team in Brisbane. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of fuel, adhering to all safety and compliance regulations. Key areas include:

  • Safely operate fuel tanker to transport fuel to various locations
  • Ensure all loads are delivered accurately and on time
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and fuel levels
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any vehicle issues promptly

Are you the one?

If you have a positive attitude, strong safety focus and proactive approach, then this role is for you. You can demonstrate:

  • Valid MR or HC drivers’ license
  • Dangerous Goods (DG) License is essential
  • Previous experience operating fuel tankers or similar heavy vehicles
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to fuel transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Further information
