Laboratory Animal Technician UMBC Campus Open Until Filled
The incumbent will maintain care and treatment of animals according to standard operating procedures and to ensure compliance with federal rules and regulations. Specific duties include: daily health checks, treatments, sample collections, breeding and cage changes; updating room logs; Animal medical procedures as directed by the veterinary staff; ensuring cleanliness of mice/rat facilities; assisting in the cage wash rooms - dumping and/or filling cages - as needed and performing other duties as assigned. The incumbent will provide technical support for studies including animal handling and restraint, weaning, timed mating, tail snips, ear tagging, injections blood/tissue collections, surgical preparations, and post-operative observations etc.
Associate Director of Research Development UMBC Campus Open Until Filled
This position will serve as a principal pre-award partner to CAHSS faculty pursuing external funding from federal sponsors, major private foundations and other strategic sources in the arts, humanities and social sciences. This position will advance the research vision of CAHSS leadership and help to develop competitive proposals, including identification and curation of funding opportunities, concept-paper and letter-of-inquiry development, narrative editing, budget preparation and justification and resubmission strategies.
Director, DDA Analytics and Policy UMBC Campus Open Until Filled
The Hilltop Institute is seeking a Director of DDA Analytics and Policy to join its Aging & Disability Studies team. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Aging & Disability Studies, the incumbent will lead Hilltop’s analytic and policy support for Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration. This role oversees data analysis, policy research, reporting, and analytics interpretation that inform DDA program operations, waiver administration, fiscal monitoring, and strategic planning. The Director will work closely with a dedicated DDA accountant to integrate policy, program, and financial perspectives and serve as Hilltop’s primary analytic and policy partner for DDA leadership.
