Reporting to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Vice Provost for Curriculum Development provides consultation, advice and support to UMBC faculty, department chairs and deans on program development and changes, related policies of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regent policies, and regulations of the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) for the purpose of advancing the UMBC faculty’s curriculum planning goals. The position manages review and approval processes for UMBC proposals within UMBC and with USM and MHEC, assuring policy and regulatory compliance in curriculum development and review. |
