SUNY Brockport has an opening for a Mental Health Counselor position (11 months – off the month of June) with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. Reporting to and under the direction and supervision of the Associate Director of the Counseling Center in the Hazen Center for Integrated Care, this individual will be responsible for providing a wide range of direct mental health services to all enrolled students by assessing each student who requests services; developing and implementing mental health programs for the campus community; and collaborating with on and off campus offices to ensure students are able to access all appropriate resources. The Counselor will facilitate assessments; develop treatment plans and arrange for appropriate follow up care which may include treating the student via individual and/or group counseling at the Counseling Center or referring the student to a community behavioral health provider or other community resource. Aligning with University goals, the Counselor will facilitate outreach programs and workshops and collaborate closely with campus partners to support wellness. When necessary, the Counselor is actively involved in helping manage crisis situations.

The Athletics Department at SUNY Brockport State University of New York is accepting applications to establish a pool of candidates to fill possible openings for the part-time position of Assistant Coach. SUNY Brockport Athletics is comprised of 23 sports and is an NCAA Division III program and a member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), Empire 8, and NCGA conferences. The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the NCAA Division III program.
