Affiliate Faculty of Instruction - Computing and Information Systems Allendale, Grand Rapids
The School of Computing and Information Systems at Grand Valley State University invites qualified individuals with a strong interest in teaching computer science, information technology, or information systems courses, to apply for a non-tenure, one-year renewable, affiliate faculty position beginning Fall 2020. The ideal candidate will be qualified to teach undergraduate courses in one or more computing topics including introduction to computing and productivity tools, programming languages, database, and other core computing courses. The School of CIS consists of a very collegial faculty with a strong emphasis on collaboration and cross-disciplinary instruction offering computer science, information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, data science & analytics, and health/bioinformatics programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates for this affiliate position must have an earned graduate degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, information systems, or related field, and a demonstrated record of successful teaching. The Theatre program in the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a Visiting Faculty position to begin August 2020. This is a non-tenure track one-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal for up to 3 years.
Assistant/Associate Professor - Psych Mental Health (Kirkhof College of Nursing) Grand Rapids
Psych/Mental Health Tenure-track faculty position available. Experience teaching in higher education also desirable. Must have earned doctorate in nursing or related discipline; if the earned doctorate is not in nursing, the master’s degree must be in nursing.
