Required Qualifications and Education:
A PhD in exercise science or related field. Applicants whom are ABD, with planned completion by August 31, 2018, will also be considered.
The committee is seeking applicants with a demonstrated effectiveness in undergraduate teaching, and who are able to engage and collaborate in scholarship and service opportunities. Individuals who are committed to the diversity and excellence of the university community are urged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Professional certification in exercise science field, i.e. ACSM or NSCA.
Applicants should be able to teach undergraduate exercise science courses at a standard semester load of nine credits. These credits may include but are not limited to: exercise for special populations; exercise testing and prescription; and other programmatic courses as needed. The applicant must have a planned agenda for their scholarship. In addition to teaching and scholarship, applicants will be expected to participate in student advising and service to the department, college, and university.
