Required Qualifications and Education:
- Master of Business Administration or related degree from an AACSB accredited institution or equivalent. Five or more years of recent, relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Evidence of professional engagement with non-profit or business community. Preferred Qualifications and Education:
- All areas of teaching experience within the Management discipline will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with prior full-time teaching experience in Entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities – Essential Functions:
- Clinical Affiliate Faculty are expected to provide effective teaching (both at the graduate and undergraduate levels), conduct scholarship, and engage in service to the university and community at a level commensurate with their rank and college accreditation requirements. The normal teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year with a possible three (3) credit release for AACSB required research and service responsibilities.
Responsibilities – Non-Essential Functions:
- Mentor Entrepreneur students, help manage the Land GR Micro-Loan program, advisor for CEO club, and participating in regional and national student competitions.

Department/Division: The L. William Seidman Center, opened in 2013, houses the Seidman College of Business which is fully accredited by AACSB International. Current enrollment in Seidman is over 3,000 students with Management majors comprising over 900 of that total. The Management Department consists of 30 full-time tenure track faculty members and four full-time clinical affiliate faculty member. (www.gvsu.edu/management/)
