The Geology Department at Western Washington University (WWU) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Hydrogeology to begin Sept 16, 2026. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching and who will establish a productive research program that involves undergraduate and Masters-level students. The ideal candidate will support our department’s ability to produce workforce-ready geoscientists. Broad areas of research interest may include, but are not limited to, groundwater-surface water interactions, environmental hydrogeology, and groundwater systems (e.g. geothermal, fault zone, coastal, mountain). |

Western Associated Student Bookstore hiring Fiscal Technician 2. This position, under general supervision, prepares daily deposits, processes invoices and credit memos in both WWU’s financial system (Banner) and inventory software (Prism), and performs other tasks that support the fiscal functions of the Western Associated Students Bookstore. This position performs detailed fiscal data entry work and works independently to reconcile vendor accounts and assists with resolving fiscal discrepancies that arise.
This position’s work schedule is typically 8:00am -3:00pm Monday through Friday, with additional required evening and weekend hours at the beginning of each term and for special events. |
