Fixed income Sales Manager/Assistant (Hong Kong Branch)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Sales in Hong Kong, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain cordial working relationships with existing institutional clients, develop new institutional clients in China, Hong Kong and global markets
  • Market and distribute fixed income products in primary market and secondary market, provide strong support for primary deal placement and trades in fixed income secondary market
  • Carry out effective communication with clients and provide value-added market flows and trading ideas to clients
  • Meet sales target and have good coverage of financial institution clients in HK and China
  • Assess clients’ needs for services and give recommendation internally for marketing strategy and product enhancements to increase new and existing business
  • Ensure all transactions undertaken with clients meet with rules and regulations, compliance, audit and risk policies of the Group;
  • Be an integral part of the sales execution team to entail price quote, trade execution, order booking, etc.
  • Managing overseas branches’ debt distribution business, and developing global network of institutional clients
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and deal pitching including preparation for marketing material or product presentations

 

        

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience in debt capital markets / fixed income products sales with proven track record and institutional client relationships in HK, China or other Asian region
  • Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, able to work under pressure, dynamic and self-confident
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, Office, Excel and etc.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin and Cantonese
  • CFA preferred
