(Assistant) Trade Services Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the operations of the business under supervision, and conduct productivity management to ensure business operations are lawful, compliant, safe, and efficient.
  • Participate in formulating work regulations, detailed rules, guidelines, etc., and provide recommendations to improve various rules and procedures.
  • Assist in researching methods to improve operational processes and reduce operational risks, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and achieving optimal cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist in defining system requirements for the business under supervision, and oversee system management, new feature implementation, and operational effectiveness.
  • Review work documents and process authorized transactions within delegated authority, guide subordinates in handling complex cases, and assist in following up on operational errors and incidents.
  • Coordinate with frontline marketing by visiting clients, introducing operational procedures for relevant products, and following up on customer service needs.
  • Maintain good relationships with external institutions, industry peers, and clients, monitor market developments, and report to superiors in a timely manner.
  • Support regional operations and assist in managing the line operations of branches and subsidiaries.
  • Undertake short-term assignments for providing operational guidance and training.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Banking, Finance or related disciplines
  • At least 4+ years of work experience in trade operation fields
  • Possesses professional knowledge and experience in bill transaction
  • Familiar with ICC practices especially on UCP600, URDG758 and ISP98 etc., local regulations, and market operations
  • Strong risk management awareness
  • Have CDCS/CITF professional qualifications
  • Proficiency in computer software such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
