Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and implementing the NPL collection of the Group; planning and establishing NPL regulations of the Group while ensuring relevant work standards and compliance requirements are fulfilled; Regularly oversee and manage the implementation of the Group's NPL collection, analyse changes in NPL data, monitor the progress and challenges in handling major accounts, and promptly provide actionable recommendations.
  • Manage corporate NPL collection. Review collection and disposal program submitted by respective assets recovery team to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of collection. Within the scope of authorisation, handle non-performing assets from various customer categories to maximise the bank's interests.
  • Monitor NPL collection activities. Track the progress of the Bank's NPL collection and recovery strategies. Ensure a robust management information system is in place for effective oversight and management of the NPL.
  • Monitor the overall value and nature of collateral assets, keep track on changes in market value and implement suitable recovery or disposal measures accordingly while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably majoring in economics, finance, accounting, or other related fields in business and finance.
  • Minimum of 10 years of banking experience, preferably with knowledge and expertise in NPL management, financial management, and risk management, etc.
  • With comprehensive understanding of banking operations and relevant regulatory requirements. Familiar with relevant laws and regulations of Hong Kong SAR, Mainland China, and International is an advantage.
  • Candidates demonstrated with systematic understandings and insights of corporate operations, economics, investment management, and commercial banking are advantageous.
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English with strong communication and negotiation skills.
