Senior / Treasury Marketing Manager (Precious Metals)

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain corporate clients across the precious metals industry supply chain based on a deep understanding of related products. Demonstrate the ability to independently manage a designated client portfolio, solicit client trading orders, and execute various client transactions.
  • Provide timely updates to line managers regarding shifts in market dynamics and client activities, accompanied by analytical insights and recommendations.
  • Receive and execute trade instructions from clients. Handle client inquiries by providing relevant data and insights on financial markets, investment products, and industry trends.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, solution design, and product training sessions. Collaborate closely with internal departments to drive business development activities.
  • Strictly adhere to local ordinances, regulations/codes of conduct from regulatory bodies, bank policies, risk management guidelines, operational workflows, and internal control systems. Proactively identify and mitigate potential operational risks, and report them promptly to superiors and relevant risk units.
  • Meet individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), execute strategic requirements mandated by the Head Office, and accomplish other tasks assigned by senior management.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing or relationship management experience within the precious metals industry. Must possess a deep understanding of supply chain clients, maintain a strong existing client network, and demonstrate clear insights into the annual asset allocation and hedging demands of industry clients.
  • Strong market sensitivity with a proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach to providing clients with professional advice and solutions.
  • Highly responsible with a strong commitment to continuous learning; able to stay updated on and master financial product innovations and their strategic applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills with clear, logical thinking. Possess proven marketing and relationship-building techniques to secure client trust.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) with strong verbal expression and communication capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver project milestones on schedule.
