Assistant Front Office Manager Mandarin Oriental, Boston
It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take full responsibility for all aspects of the front office hotel operation being pro-active, creative and results driven and act on behalf of the Rooms Division Manager. The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for oversee the effective and efficient operation of Front Office which includes Reception, Concierge and Telephone departments. Plan, organize, and motivate Guest Service Agents to excel in delivering Legendary Quality Experience and brand quality service to all guests. The Assistant Front Office Manager reports directly to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for supervising the Guest Service Agents.
Americas - Engineer II ($500 sign on bonus) Mandarin Oriental, Boston
The Engineer II is responsible for the safety and comfort of all guests, colleagues and visitors of Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta and the operation, maintenance & repair of all hotel equipment. It is the mission and intent of this position that the Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work.  In accordance with Mandarin Oriental corporate guidelines and ensure compliance to all local, state and federal regulations.  Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis.  Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all-building equipment and rooms.  Complete other special projects assigned periodically by the Director of Engineering and the Assistant Director of Engineering. The Engineer will report directly to the Assistant Director of Engineering.
Americas - Chiller Plant Operator ($500 sign on bonus) Mandarin Oriental, Boston
The Chiller Plant Operator Duties and Responsibilities 1. Major responsibilities: • Create a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and colleagues by operating maintaining and repairing all Major Base Building Systems in an efficient manner. • Conduct rounds of the facilities plants as well as all other mechanical areas. • Daily operation and adjustment of the facilities BAS. • Assist guests and colleagues on all Engineering related enquiries relative to Major Base Building Mechanical systems. • Immediately report any mechanical deficiencies to the Assistant Chief or Chief Engineer for immediate action. • Serve as a member of hotel emergency response team. • Assist Fire Safety Director and conduct related responsibilities. • Comply with all hotel rules and regulations. • Constantly maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times. • Assist when needed in other areas of hotel in the event of an emergency. • Other duties as assigned by management.
Americas - Turndown Attendant ($500 sign on bonus) Mandarin Oriental, Boston
It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take full responsibility for the tasks that are given on all aspects of the Housekeeping operation, maintenance of the hotel and service standards.  The Turndown Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness of all guestrooms that they are assigned to turndown. The Turndown Attendant is equally responsible for delivering all the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group service standards.  The Turndown Attendant will report directly to the Director of Housekeeping/ Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor.

The Residence Doorperson is responsible for the overall guest satisfaction including initiating contact with the Residents and guests entering the Residences and creating a delightful arrival and departure experience.  The Doorperson is responsible for ensuring smooth traffic flow in the courtyard.  The Doorperson will diligently convey the names of arriving guests to other Departments. The Doorperson reports directly to the Residence Manager.

It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take full responsibility for the tasks that are given on all aspects of the Housekeeping operation and maintenance of the hotel. The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, well-stocked section assigned. He/She is responsible for maintaining cleanliness on guest floors and hallways assigned. The House person reports directly to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping / Housekeeping Manager.

Americas - Steward ($500 sign on bonus) Mandarin Oriental, Boston
It is the intent for the incumbent to be responsible for and to perform cleaning, pot/dish washing, removal of garbage/boxes, silver polishing, sweeping, moping and any other cleaning or organizational activity that may come up including inside of coolers and kitchen area.  The incumbent will also help with plate up and assist in kitchen as required.  Flexibility and helpful attitude will be maintained.  The Steward is ultimately responsible for the cleanliness of the heart of the house as well as maintaining the equipment throughout the property. Insure that they personally receive the appropriate and mandatory training in health and safety and Mandarin Oriental required training in HACCP.   The Steward will report directly to the Stewarding Supervisor/ Executive Sous Chef and be responsible for steward operations.

It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take full responsibility for all aspects of the hotel operation being pro-active, creative and results driven. Must provide leadership and direction to overnight staff in terms of hotel operations, safety and security as well as provide service representative of the brand to all the guests.    This position is responsible for the overall operation of the hotel.  Act as the "Liaison Officer" between guests and Management. Raise accurate and detail log entries for all incidents and occurrences in the hotel and follow through closely to achieve “win-win” situation between guests and hotel. Be the ‘eyes’ and the ‘ears’ of the management especially during the night where there is minimum staffing level and activities. The Night Manager reports to the Front Office Manager and oversees all of the colleagues working during the night shift operations at the hotel.
