| As a member of the Dining Services department, the Culinary Assistant will work in any of the following stations depending on the schedule or need of the department roles: grill cook, grill assistant, salad prep, deli, prep cook. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, having a passion for food, enjoying being part of an energetic team and the opportunity to make a difference in the student’s dining experience on Swarthmore’s campus.
Possess exceptional customer service skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently and as part of a team. This person is able to prioritize and multitask. Prepare grilled food, deli meats, salad bar items and catering foods in accordance with the instructions, specifications and recipes provided. Prepare and provide food in a safe and timely manner. Required to have knowledge of cooking temperatures and knowledge of operating grill equipment and must keep the work area clean and sanitized at all times. |

Culinary Production & Supply Manager

| The Culinary Production and Supply Manager is responsible for food, inventory, equipment, and ordering supplies; using seasonal products and utilizing current food trends. Collaborates with the Executive Sous Chef along with the Associate Director and Executive Chef in menu concept development, special event planning, writing seasonal and custom menus. Plans and develops menus with the culinary team, and provides them with new recipes and products. Maintains food costs, opportunity food purchases to save money for the operating budget, inventory controls and works within financial targets as specified by the board operations budget.
Interacts with Residential Managers on food displays to ensure the highest quality of food production, standards, presentations, and techniques. Orders and schedules deliveries of all food, beverage and disposable products to meet the menu cycle. Maintains the highest levels of food safety, sanitation and cleanliness in all production areas. Processes payroll; receives invoices, takes inventory, and monitors staff productivity.
Maintains all records of production, inventory, food costs and standardized recipes in the menu management system for residential dining and catering. Maintains all nutritional information for the department and works with the Associate Director and Executive Chef to ensure products align with special diet requests.
Participates in hiring, training, development, and the supervision of the production staff. Manage the stock and delivery team. This includes hiring, training, scheduling and writing performance assessments. |

Social Work Fellow

| The CAPS Social Work Fellow will gain experience with each of the primary functions in a college counseling center including direct individual and group clinical services, outreach programs, crisis support, and faculty/staff consultation. The Social Work Fellow will also participate in numerous training activities, including individual supervision, group supervision, case conference, and various seminars. |

Postdoctoral Resident

| The CAPS Postdoctoral Resident will gain experience with each of the primary functions in a college counseling center. Swarthmore College Counseling & Psychological Services supports the campus community by offering direct individual and group clinical services, outreach programs, crisis support, and faculty/staff consultation. CAPS infuses each of these functions with cultural humility and attunement to diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility. The Postdoctoral Resident will also participate in numerous training activities, including individual supervision, group supervision, case conference, Outreach Seminar, Clinical Seminar, and Psychopharm seminar. |
