The Theatre & Film Technical Director coordinates all scenic activities (scenery construction, painting, and props) for departmental productions, including supervision and operation of lighting and sound systems and provides technical assistance for related activities. This position supervises and instructs student workers, student theatre classes, and volunteer workers for departmental productions; maintains shop, lighting, and sound equipment; maintains inventory of required supplies, supervises students/crews in the production and running of departmental productions and ensures the physical space is maintained, and ensures safe, timely setup and smooth running of department productions. |
