Assistant/Associate Professor, Professional Counseling and Leadership
Jacksonville State University’s College of Education and Professional Studies is seeking to hire a scholar for an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Professional Counseling and Leadership.
The Assistant/Associate Professor of Professional Counseling and Leadership is responsible for instructional work to facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, able and responsible members of society. This position exists to provide educational services to graduate students. The instructor is required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus and online.
This position requires the following:
- Doctorate in field specific to School and/or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Preference may be given to applicants who possess the following:
- Experience with the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs
