Job Summary:
The Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and management of the university's IT infrastructure. This includes network systems, data centers, telecommunications, and other technology services. The role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support the university's academic and administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies to support business goals.
- Oversee all IT infrastructure activities, including network management, system administration, and IT security.
- System Design and Implementation:
- Plan and execute the design and implementation of IT systems, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful system deployment.
- Network Management:
- Ensure the reliability and performance of the organization’s network infrastructure.
- Manage network design, implementation, and maintenance, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design and management of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems.
- IT Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure system availability during emergencies.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Performs related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CCNP, PMP, CISSP, CISM or others relevant to the industry.
