Jax State partners with many high schools in our region to offer college courses through Dual Enrollment on the high school campus and online. This job posting is for faculty at those partner schools who, working with their principal and Jax State’s Dual Enrollment Coordinator, are seeking adjunct certification in order to teach Dual Enrollment courses on their home campus and/or online. University Student Assistant - Mail Center (Summer 2025) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The duties of the University Student Aid in the Mail Center are to provide excellent customer service to all visitors, follow established record keeping, deliver mail to surrounding campus buildings on foot, enter student mail into the WTS computer system and into the parcel lockers, make ID Cards, clean and maintain both the mail and ID office, open and closing procedures, and additional duties as required by the department.
HVAC II Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The HVAC Mechanic II works at the journeyman level to perform service and maintenance on various refrigeration and air conditioning installations and equipment.  Tasks are completed according to established trade practices under the direction of a senior level HVAC mechanic or the HVAC supervisor, and is reviewed for compliance with instructions and adequate completion.  The HVAC Mechanic II works rotating shifts; special situations or emergencies may necessitate reporting on a scheduled off-day.
University Student Assistant - Campus Parking Enforcement Officer (Fall 2025-Spring 2026) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The University Student Assistant Campus Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for the enforcement of University Parking Rules and Regulations. Duties may include the issuing of parking citations to vehicles in violation of University Parking Rules and Regulations, unlocking of car doors, assisting motorist upon request, use of parking enforcement devices, police radio use, body cameras, and educating student and visitors to campus of the University Parking Rules and Regulations. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, may be assigned to day or evening shifts, serves as a liaison between the public and University departments, assist University Police Officers upon request, and maintains parking enforcement hardware and two-way radio.
