The Assistant Provost for Instructional Design, Engagement and Support (IDEAS) oversees the development and implementation of innovative strategies and educational practices that align with the strategic goals of Academic Affairs for online and in-person education. The Assistant Provost combines educational expertise with technological innovation to enhance online and in-person teaching and learning across the University. The Assistant Provost leads the IDEAS unit, ensuring effective collaboration with faculty and academic leaders to design and implement high-quality educational experiences.
Head of Grounds (Construction Services) UMass Amherst
The Head of Grounds (Construction Services) responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of grounds-related construction, maintenance, and improvement projects. In collaboration with other Heads of Grounds Services, the incumbent may also oversee various functions across the entire Grounds Department, including maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the campus landscape, hardscape, and waste handling systems.

Department Assistant position at the University of Massachusetts Amherst performing laboratory testing and experimentation procedures in support of research and service activities in the Laboratory of Medical Zoology (LMZ).
Director of Advising Commonwealth Honors College UMass Amherst
The Director of Advising oversees advising programs and services for Commonwealth Honors College (CHC) students, developing academic plans to progress toward completion of an Honors graduation plan. The Director collaborates on program initiatives within CHC and University-wide and leads the development and delivery of programs and services that enhance student success, retention, and advancement. The Director directs New Students’ Orientation and Transitions and advising services for honors students and develops CHC advisor training and professional development activities. They direct work assignments and evaluate performance for exempt and non-exempt staff.   Responsibilities include the supervision of Advising staff and the management of the Bloom Honors Advising Center, including operations and budget. They serve on CHC's Unit Director Team to address emerging CHC issues.
Career Advisor/Assistant Director of Career & Professional Development Center (Hybrid Opportunity) UMass Amherst
The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) Career & Professional Development Center is hiring one position, which may be filled at either the Assistant Director or Career Advisor level, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The Assistant Director/Career Advisor of Career & Professional Development Center works under the general direction of the Director of Career & Professional Development Center in CNS, to plan and organize career development and experiential learning activities for CNS undergraduates and recent alumni in cooperation with department heads and faculty.
