Water Treatment Engineer UMass Amherst
The Water Treatment Engineer leads the design, implementation, and validation of a comprehensive water treatment program to protect HVAC hydronic systems from corrosion, scaling, biological fouling, and legionella risks. This position establishes SOP's, provides training, and serves as a technical consultant to facilities and design teams to ensure maximum system uptime. It also includes selecting, administering, and monitoring chemical treatments and control strategies to prevent system failures.
Administrative Secretary I UMass Amherst
The Administrative Secretary provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Equal Opportunity and Access. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and professional functioning of the office by coordinating complex activities with discretion and sound judgment. The role demands a high degree of confidentiality, organizational excellence, and the ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
Digital Marketing & Outreach Manager (Hybrid Opportunity) UMass Amherst
The Digital Marketing and Outreach Manager is a critical member of the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center (MSBDC) and works for the lead State Office, which oversees six regional and two specialty offices. The position reports directly to the MSBDC State Director with a high degree of autonomy for day-to-day functions, and serves as the central point of contact for digital marketing content creation and management across the Massachusetts SBDC, including web content and social media strategies.
Associate Professor of Music History - Tenure Track UMass Amherst
The Department of Music and Dance of the University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks to hire an Associate Professor of Music History (with tenure). The position is open to candidates with research and teaching expertise in any area of historical musicology, although preference will be accorded to candidates whose expertise can complement that of current faculty. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the Associate Professor rank to begin September 1, 2026.
