| The Utility Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing operation, maintenance and repair of the campus high voltage electrical distribution system, IT cable distribution system and related equipment. Coordinate campus electrical needs with Town of Amherst Electrical Inspector. Schedule work for the Physical Plant Utility Electrical and the IT Cable Engineering Services (CES) divisions. |

| Installs, repairs, alters and maintains fluid transmission systems, sanitary fixtures, heating systems, low and high pressure steam lines, condensate lines, water lines, sprinkler lines, sewer lines; and performs other related work as required, including but not limited to, trade related asbestos abatement, repairs and/or initiates repairs on building systems such as; pneumatic control systems, heating and ventilation (HVAC) systems, cooling towers, pumps and related equipment. Employing the use and need of specialized testing and monitoring, diagnostic equipment; works synchronously with Control Technicians / trade personnel maintaining the building systems integrity, exercises functional supervision of other employees of lower grade performing related repair and maintenance activities. |

| The Senior Cleanroom Engineer supports the daily technical operation, maintenance of equipment and development of processes in the Nanofabrication, the Device Fabrication, and the Roll-to-Roll Facilities cleanrooms in the Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS). The Manufacturing Engineer works with the respective facility staff and management team to establish and support operating and maintenance protocols, process development, and collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and outside users to maximize high impact research and development output. |

This position works closely with other advising personnel to ensure high-quality advising and academic services for all undergraduate students. The position is responsive to the widely varied needs of diverse student populations and works in a high-volume and fast-paced work environment. |
