The Department of Music and Dance of the University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks to hire an Associate Professor of Music History (with tenure). The position is open to candidates with research and teaching expertise in any area of historical musicology, although preference will be accorded to candidates whose expertise can complement that of current faculty. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the Associate Professor rank to begin September 1, 2026.

The Senior Case Manager, Employee Accommodations and Absence Support is a senior-level professional responsible for independently managing complex and sensitive employee leave and workplace accommodation cases in compliance with university policies and applicable laws. This role serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to employees, supervisors, and HR partners, providing advanced consultation, training, and process leadership. The Senior Case Manager leads the full lifecycle of ADA accommodations, Workers’ Compensation claims, FMLA, and other leave programs, ensuring seamless coordination, legal compliance, and positive employee outcomes. This position plays a key role in continuous process improvements, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives within the absence management function.
Departmental Assistant – Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment Farm Facilities UMass Amherst
Serves to support the daily operations of the UMass Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment (CAFE) Farm Facilities, primarily at the Crop and Animal Research and Education Farm. Performs a variety of functions including but not limited to maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
