Assistant Dean- (School for the Environment) SFE - Dean's Office
The School for the Environment (SFE) integrates the natural and social sciences, liberal arts, governance, and business to generate and apply new knowledge about the quality of our environment and the sustainable use of its resources. The Assistant Dean will serve as the School's chief financial, business, personnel, and research operations officer reporting directly to and acting as signatory for the Dean of the School for the Environment (SFE). The incumbent will be responsible for managing all fiscal responsibilities related to budgeting, needs assessment and resource allocation; all personnel policies and paperwork, recruitment and payroll-related systems for the college; and will advise the Dean regarding budgetary and personnel matters.
Lecturer (Mental Health Counseling) Counseling & School Psychology
The College of Education and Human Development at the University of Massachusetts Boston is seeking an outstanding candidate to join their faculty beginning Spring 2025. The candidate will assume a nine-month, lecturer non-tenure track appointment in the Counseling, School Psychology, and Sport Department, which houses two APA Accredited Programs in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology, MPCAC-Accredited Masters Programs in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling, NASP-Accredited Masters and Ed.S. Programs in School Psychology, a graduate certificate program in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a B.A. in Sport Leadership and Administration.

The School for the Environment at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for the Chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Community Development (UPCD) position to begin September 1, 2025. We seek an outstanding scholar and leader with demonstrated academic experience in urban planning, community development, and leadership, particularly in fostering just and sustainable communities in the context of climate change. The Chair will provide transformational leadership to advance the department’s mission and vision, emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and excellence. We seek a candidate with experience as a department chair or other relevant academic leadership roles who can contribute to the growth of the department’s programs. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a research agenda focused on policies and plans to expand opportunities for our region's economically challenged and historically underinvested communities. The Department is especially interested in candidates whose planning scholarship and practice focuses on resident-led, community-based planning and development initiatives.
HR Training and Development Coordinator/CRTIX Trainer Human Resources
Under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources, designs, develops and delivers strategic employee learning and development programs including, but not limited to, management and leadership development, onboarding, and career development through various modalities including presentations to large or small groups, e-learning and interactive sessions, etc. In addition, this position will dedicate significant effort conducting anti-harassment and discrimination training working with the office of Civil Rights and Title IX (CRTIX Training). CRTIX training is at the core of the University’s efforts to provide anti-harassment and discrimination training to students, faculty, and staff. Moving beyond simple compliance, the CRTIX Trainer will be an integral part of a team creating a world-class progressive training program that will allow students, faculty, and staff to recognize and thrive in an inclusive environment with zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or sexual violence
