| The Director of Advising and Pathway Programs manages a comprehensive advising program for academic programs within the University Without Walls Division. Ensures high quality advising and academic services for all students, with particular emphasis on programmatic needs for online, non-traditional, and exploratory students. Leads the development and delivery of programs and services that will enhance student success, retention, and the student experience. Provides leadership for current student pathway programs and collaborates in the development of new programs. Responsive to the widely varied needs of diverse student populations and works in a high volume and fast-paced work environment. |

Assistant Director- Financial Aid Counselor

| The Assistant Director, Counselor is responsible for communicating and disseminating financial aid information, policies and procedures to graduate and undergraduate students and families through in-person interviews, media and phone consultations; and is responsible for keeping staff abreast of policy and regulatory changes affecting student eligibility and ensuring consistency in applying policies throughout the Financial Aid Services organization. The role of counselor requires a thorough knowledge of all federal and state regulations and institutional policies governing the financial aid programs. The Assistant Director, Counselor acts independently in counseling students, awarding aid and adjusting aid packages; and is responsible for the financial aid application verification process. The incumbent uses professional judgment, in accordance with federal regulations, to adjust financial aid awards due to unique family situations, student enrollment plans and in coordination of external aid awards. In addition, the Assistant Director, Counselor is responsible for managing federal, state and/or institutional financial aid programs as assigned; including but not limited to awarding, disbursing, reconciling cash receipts and expenditures and monthly/annual reconciliations. |

Family Physician/Sports Medicine

| The Family Physician/Sports Medicine provides clinical services for students, faculty/staff and families eligible for health care; provides episodic health care in conjunction with a program of comprehensive primary care; provides programs of health education. Works under the direct supervision of the Medical Director of University Health Services in accordance with the regulations of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. This position includes shared Team Physician duties for varsity sports coverage. Faculty appointment is with the Sports Medicine Fellowship based in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. |

Community-Engaged Research Coordinator

| The Community-Engaged Research Coordinator works with the PI’s in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (PBS) conducting community-engaged research aimed at eliminating health inequities and addressing the harmful effects of violence and discrimination on marginalized communities. This role is to support this research as well as serve as liaison between the community, the researching staff, and local collaborators in Holyoke, MA & Springfield, MA. |
