Electrician I

| The Communications Dispatcher II performs a variety of duties involving transmitting messages from the radio communications base station. S/he monitors various radio frequencies and operates radio transmitting and receiving equipment. S/he will maintain records and logs of department daily activities, search files to obtain information, utilize information equipment in order to facilitate law enforcement and community care taking goals and missions. Under general supervision, the Technical Specialist I performs skilled technical and mechanical duties to support operation, maintenance, and repair of campus Utility and Mechanical systems. |

| The Department of Chemical Engineering of the Francis College of Engineering (FCOE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor in Nuclear Engineering, starting September 1, 2026. This position is part of the FCOE’s growing Nuclear Engineering Program.
The successful candidate will join the department and college faculty and will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising students majoring in nuclear engineering, contributing to curriculum development and student success initiatives, and participating in other service activities such as student recruiting and outreach events. Teaching faculty play a crucial role in promoting the department’s educational mission, engaging students in experiential learning, and fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community. |
