Category Manager - Professional Services UMass President's Office
Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the Category Manager - Professional Services is an experienced procurement professional who can lead the development of a strategic vision and operational plan to maximize business opportunities through effective Category Management & Process Execution. Will act as the single point of contact and should exhibit the ability to manage all operations related to sourcing and procurement activities for directly assigned categories including management of Strategic Sourcing Specialist.
Electrician I UMass Amherst
The Electrician I installs, maintains, operates, repairs and/or initiates repairs on building systems such as; electric, electronic, electro-mechanical controls, card access/security, fire alarm, communication equipment, and their related devices and performs other related work as required, including but not limited to, repairs and/or initiates repairs on building systems such as; control systems, heating and ventilation (HVAC) systems, cooling towers, pumps and related equipment. Employing the use and need of specialized testing and monitoring, diagnostic equipment; works synchronously with Control Technicians / trade personnel maintaining the building systems integrity, exercises functional supervision of other employees of lower grade performing related repair and maintenance activities.

The Communications Dispatcher II performs a variety of duties involving transmitting messages from the radio communications base station. S/he monitors various radio frequencies and operates radio transmitting and receiving equipment. Assistant Teaching Professor - Nuclear Engineering UMass Lowell
The Department of Chemical Engineering of the Francis College of Engineering (FCOE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor in Nuclear Engineering, starting September 1, 2026. This position is part of the FCOE’s growing Nuclear Engineering Program. The successful candidate will join the department and college faculty and will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising students majoring in nuclear engineering, contributing to curriculum development and student success initiatives, and participating in other service activities such as student recruiting and outreach events. Teaching faculty play a crucial role in promoting the department’s educational mission, engaging students in experiential learning, and fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
