The Associate Director of Athletics Communications serves as the strategic communications leader for UMass Boston Athletics, responsible for advancing the visibility, reputation, brand, and storytelling of the institution's athletics programs and leadership through comprehensive media relations, digital content strategy, statistical reporting, and brand management. This position serves as the primary steward of athletics information, ensuring the accurate, timely, and consistent collection, management, and distribution of statistics, records, and content across NCAA, conference, institutional, and public platforms.
Secondary Clinical Supervisors (Temporary/Part-Time) UMass Lowell
University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking part-time program supervisors with interest and experience teaching in middle and high schools to supervise teacher candidates in their practicum. Program Supervisors observe, coach, and train graduate candidates seeking teacher licensure in math, the sciences, history, and English. Candidates work collaboratively with teacher preparation faculty on supervision protocols and executing the state mandated Candidate Assessment of Performance (CAP). Supervisions typically occur 1-2 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., in schools around the state.. Supervisors observe and meet regularly with teacher candidates during their practicum.

Administrative Assistant II UMass Boston
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting in the coordination of the daily operational and programmatic functions of Housing and Residential Life (OHRL). The incumbent will provide administrative oversight and support to the Housing and Residential Life; assist in the management of procurement transactions, including entering purchasing requisitions and coordinating vendor payments; manage personnel action and payroll for OHRL student staff, graduate assistants, and interns; and supervise daily operations of the front desk and reception areas, including providing timely communication to all current and incoming students and their families about the information and services offered by OHRL. The incumbent will also provide support for human resource, procurement and financial functions for Off Campus Living (OCL) and Military Affiliated Student Belonging (MAS).
Utility Plant Operator UMass Boston
The Utility Plant Operator, within the Facilities Department, is responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing heating and air conditioning chiller systems, boilers and auxiliary machinery and equipment; operating electronic controls for heating and air conditioning systems; and for monitoring general, mechanical and/or electrical repairs on power distribution, chilled water, hot water, gas, domestic and de-ionized water, environmental rooms, freezers, fire alarm, remote building equipment monitoring, sanitary, acid waste and storm drain systems; respond to emergencies or equipment breakdowns; maintain adequate supply of fuel; and perform related work as required. The basic purpose of this work is to operate, monitor, maintain and repair utility systems and equipment and that the power plant facility is operated and maintained safely and efficiently. The Utility Plant Operator position is considered to be an Essential Personnel as defined by and detailed in the contract between the University and the Classified Staff Union (CSU).
