Faculty Part-time - Chinese Language - World Languages and Cultures UMass Lowell
The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to build an adjunct pool and to teach two Chinese language course in Fall 2025 (Chinese 1 and culture , and Chinese 3 and Culture). Research Associate in Energy Engineering Modeling (MS or PhD) UMass Lowell
The Research Associate in Energy Engineering Modeling (MS or PhD) will research, design, and develop a modular techno-economic energy system software modeling capability. This candidate will employ the modeling tool to conduct several case-studies of coupled renewable (wind and solar) energy production and hydrogen energy storage systems. Dissemination of this research will include the development of an interactive graphical dashboard/web-app/app. The successful candidate will also assist in writing scholarly articles and research proposals, help to manage and educate graduate or undergraduate students, and assist in the successful operation of the laboratories and facilities.
Research Associate in Mechanical Engineering (MS or PhD) - Condition Monitoring and Computer Vision UMass Lowell
The Research Associate in Mechanical Engineering (MS or PhD) – Condition Monitoring and Computer Vision, will conduct analytical and experimental research in the areas of Nondestructive evaluation and Condition Monitoring with an emphasis on the development of computer vision and machine learning-enhanced techniques for damage detection, data acquisition, and system monitoring for energy systems (e.g., wind, solar, hydrogen). The successful candidate will also assist in writing scholarly articles and research proposals, help to manage and educate graduate or undergraduate students, and assist in the successful operation of the laboratories and facilities.
