Postdoctoral Research Associate - Experimental Nuclear Physics UMass Lowell
The Nuclear Physics group at the University of Massachusetts Lowell has an immediate Postdoctoral opening to help exploit new opportunities in experimental research both at major national user facilities and at our on-campus Radiation Laboratory. The current research in the group is focused on fundamental nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics, as well as in detector R&D and applied nuclear science using emerging scintillators and segmented HPGe detectors. The Radiation Laboratory has a 1-MW research reactor and a 5.5-MV CN Van de Graaff accelerator. The university is situated in the historic city of Lowell, on the Merrimack River, a half-hour northwest of Boston.
HR Training and Development Coordinator/CRTIX Trainer UMass Boston
Under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources, designs, develops and delivers strategic employee learning and development programs including, but not limited to, management and leadership development, onboarding, and career development through various modalities including presentations to large or small groups, e-learning and interactive sessions, etc. In addition, this position will dedicate significant effort conducting anti-harassment and discrimination training working with the office of Civil Rights and Title IX (CRTIX Training).
