The Energy Manager will play a critical role in developing, planning and implementing strategies to optimize energy use and reduce CO2 emissions across the University’s operations and capital programs. This includes advising on best practices, leveraging advanced building management system (BMS), maintaining a robust demand response program, and coordinating scheduled building retro-commissioning to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability.
In addition, the Energy Manager will collaborate to monitor utility costs, develop an energy procurement strategy, and establish utility purchasing policies. This coordination ensures a cohesive approach to energy management, cost efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
The University is a member of the “American College and University Presidents’ Climate Initiative” and is also participates in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts DOER Leading by Example Program to reduce the environmental impacts of state agency operations. | The successful applicant will conduct analytical, computational and experimental research in the areas of structural health and condition monitoring, controls, and diagnostics of engineering structures with an emphasis on development of signal and image processing algorithms using audio-visual signals and machine learning-enhanced techniques for improved system and structural response. The successful candidate will also assist in writing scholarly articles and research proposals, help to manage and educate graduate or undergraduate students, and assist in the successful operation of the laboratories and facilities. |

| The Staff Psychologist and Coordinator of Clinical Training within University Health Services will provide high-quality, time-effective, evidence-based and culturally responsive clinical services, including: triage; emergency and crisis intervention services; referrals and evaluations; as well as individual and group counseling and psychotherapy. The incumbent will also provide consultation to faculty and staff and provide outreach to the campus community. The incumbent will manage a caseload so as to serve the maximum number of students who are appropriate for services at the University Health Services Counseling Center; and will consult with and/or make timely and appropriate mental health referrals for students as needed.
In addition, the Staff Psychologist and Coordinator of Clinical Training will provide leadership for the University Health Services Counseling Center Clinical Practicum and Advanced Clinical Practicum, serving as the liaison between the Counseling Center and the graduate programs in which the trainees are enrolled. The incumbent will guide the process of planning and producing the yearly practicum orientation, assuming primary responsibility for ensuring that trainees and practicum supervisors understand and act in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Counseling Center; will oversee all data collection pertaining to the evaluation of the practicum; and will be responsible for overseeing the application process for the Advanced Clinical Practicum. |
