Executive Creative Director (Hybrid Opportunity) UMass Amherst
An experienced and visionary leader, the Executive Creative Director (ECD) translates marketing and communications strategies into compelling creative concepts and expressions to consistently and effectively bring the UMass brand to life. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and is a member of the MarCom leadership team. The ECD has exceptional leadership skills and a strong background in audience segmenting and storytelling.  The role leads creative efforts across multiple platforms including magazine, print, digital, writing and editing, and video and photography.  The ECD directs and develops compelling, best-in-class, strategic and effective solutions that set the creative standard for university marketing material. As the strategic leader for the MarCom creative team, the ECD partners closely with colleagues in University Relations and collaborates effectively with schools, colleges and university-wide units, and external partners. This position builds on brand architecture (verbal and visual) to generate creative communications that grow UMass Amherst’s brand awareness and enhance our reputation.
Senior Award Research Administrator (Remote Opportunity) UMass Amherst

The Office Manager is responsible for the administrative management of the Berthiaume Center in the Isenberg School of Management. Responsibilities include departmental scheduling, purchasing, preparation of financial and non-financial reports, maintenance of the departmental website, and assisting in the planning and execution of departmental events. Laboratory Technician I UMass Amherst
Perform laboratory and field work, in consultation with the Director, in support of several grant-funded applied water quality monitoring and research projects. Carry out water sample collection, processing, and analysis following established protocols and assigned field schedules. Manage assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines in alignment with Center objectives. Maintain and calibrate laboratory and field equipment, coordinate QA/QC activities, and ensure compliance with certification requirements. Support data management and assist in preparation for laboratory audits and reporting. Coordinate daily activities and ensure smooth operation of the Environmental Analysis Laboratory.
Technical Assistant III (Educ) UMass Amherst
Provide support for general and organic laboratory and lecture courses. Maintain an organized set of materials to support faculty lecturing in large enrollment first and second year courses, including general education courses. In collaboration with the Directors of teaching laboratories and technical staff, develop new, complementary laboratory experiments at the freshmen and sophomore levels. Direct supervision provided by the Director of the General Chemistry Laboratory (Sr. Lecturer II A) and functional supervision provided by the Organic and Inorganic Teaching Laboratories Coordinator (Laboratory Technician II) and the Organic Laboratory Director (Sr. Lecturer II).

The Administrative Manager for the Department of Physics, within the College of Science and Mathematics, will provide professional support to the chair by assisting with complex budget and grants administration and various human resources activities. The Administrative Manager is responsible for the financial management and administration of multi-dimensional functions directly associated with the grants including, but not limited to account maintenance, personnel actions, funding and expenditure reporting, grant-related purchasing activities and preparation of all grant-related financial and personnel paperwork. This position will work with the faculty members to coordinate and oversee grant awards and functions completed by the department. Additionally, this position will act as the primary purchasing agent to serve the teaching and research labs in the department. Director- Principal & Leadership Gifts UMass Boston
Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Principal & Leadership Gifts and Campaign Director, the Director of Principal and Leadership Gifts is primarily responsible for developing managing, implementing, and overseeing strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of approximately 100-125 prospective leadership gift donors. The Director will create individualized solicitation plans leading to major outright and deferred gifts of $50,000+, integrating unrestricted and restricted gifts, endowment, annual and capital gifts in support of UMass Boston fund raising priorities. Responsibilities will most significantly include the identification, cultivation and solicitation of new prospects for the university. The incumbent will focus on three main Schools and Colleges at the university. The Director of Principal and Leadership Gifts will serve as a fundraiser for university-wide targeted initiatives and will work with the Chancellor, the Provost, Deans, department chairs, key faculty members, and University Advancement colleagues in developing and implementing key fundraising strategies and activities.
Slavery North Artist-In-Residence/Research Fellow UMass Amherst
The Artist-In-Residence (Research Fellow) for Slavery North will actively participate in both the scholarly and social environment of the center. Artists-in-Residence, with support of Slavery North leadership, will conduct independent research and create original works in one or more of the five mandate areas of Slavery North which include 1) Canadian Slavery, (2) slavery in the US North, (3) the comparative study of slavery in Canada, the US North, and other northern or temperate regions, (4) the study of the inter-connectedness of slavery in Canada and the US North with Caribbean Slavery, and (5) Black-Indigenous relations in Canadian Slavery or US North Slavery. Furthermore, the research must center on the enslaved and/or adopt an anti-colonial, de-colonial, post-colonial, and/or anti-racist methodology/approach which challenges the nature of European and Euro-American imperialism and colonialism and interrogates the racist logic of the institution of Transatlantic Slavery.
