| University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking part-time program supervisors with interest and experience teaching in middle and high schools to supervise teacher candidates in their practicum. Program Supervisors observe, coach, and train graduate candidates seeking teacher licensure in math, the sciences, history, and English. Candidates work collaboratively with teacher preparation faculty on supervision protocols and executing the state mandated Candidate Assessment of Performance (CAP). Supervisions typically occur 1-2 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., in schools around the state.. Supervisors observe and meet regularly with teacher candidates during their practicum. |
