General Summary of Position:

The Coordinator of Admissions Operations reports to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Operations and is responsible for traditional admissions processing responsibilities that will enhance efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Primary responsibilities include processing prospective student information, inquiry cards, applications, transcripts, test scores, and other materials related to the admissions process to ensure integrity of all student data provided.  Staff member will be responsible for assisting in the processing of over 15,000 applications received annually. Specific projects will be assigned according to previous experience and office needs.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Associates Degree with at 2-3 years of experience in an education setting. * Will consider candidates with 5 years or more of experience in an Admission’s Office and a HS Diploma or G.E.D./equivalent

  • Working knowledge of Slate, Document Imaging, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Additional Considerations:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to establish a positive rapport with students, faculty, staff, guidance counselors and parents
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

This is an SEIU 888 Professional Union position, Grade P14.
