Join our team as an entry-level professional on our Individual Underwriting Client Interview Team. This role offers operational support across various functions and requires technical aptitude and a solid understanding of new business processes to effectively meet the needs of our partners and customers. This position does require you to work every other week (typically Tuesday) 11:30am - 8pm, CST. Training will be 8:30am-5pm CST for up to 6 weeks. Apply now to kickstart your career!

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Hourly Wage: $19.25, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Evaluates complex situations and conducts thorough assessments to efficiently process new business applications, contributing to overall business goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks with expanded knowledge, demonstrating care and thoroughness while adapting to major changes in the work environment.
  • Identifies discrepancies in information and underwriting requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness while discerning relevant details.
  • Utilizes various systems and tools effectively across multiple underwriting areas, demonstrating fluency in soft phone handling for call transfers.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service by providing product support, responding promptly, and leveraging communication tools to enhance the customer experience while suggesting process improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Capable of working flexible shifts while maintaining regular attendance in line with department expectations.
  • Demonstrates urgency and takes responsibility for achieving results.
  • Possesses strong skills in assessing and understanding customer needs.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including email, data entry, and Microsoft products, with strong keyboarding skills.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to multitask under pressure while adapting to changing customer needs.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.
