As a Senior Systems/Cloud Engineer, you will be a technical leader responsible for the design, delivery, and support of our critical Cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in driving our cloud strategy, ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and efficient. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects, from managing our hybrid cloud connectivity to owning Azure governance and building out our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Level 4 escalations related to cloud and systems infrastructure
- Configure, manage, and optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Own and enhance Azure governance, including RBAC, policy management, and Entra ID
- Lead infrastructure projects, from designing solutions and building business cases to delivery
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform and/or Azure Bicep
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps
- Ensure system security and compliance with standards such as PCI-DSS, IRAP, and ISO27001
- Monitor cloud environments and continuously optimize for cost, performance, and availability
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Senior Systems or Cloud Engineer, with deep expertise managing mid-sized Azure and Google Cloud environments
- Hands-on experience managing and deploying on-premises Microsoft Active Directory environments
- An IT Degree (or relevant industry certifications) and extensive on-the-job experience
- A forward-thinking and self-motivated individual with strong communication and technical leadership/mentoring skills
