At Burwood, we do this through standout events, meaningful partnerships with local groups, dynamic digital content, and strong collaboration with retailers to amplify their brands.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Westfield Burwood this Marketing Executive role is a great opportunity to deepen your experience across campaign planning, event execution, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Lead key centre campaigns from concept to execution, managing timelines and budgets, with a focus on lifestyle, cultural events, and fashion. Key events include Lunar New Year, School Holidays, seasonal fashion, and Christmas.
- Implement the local digital strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels to meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the centre’s Marketing Plan, aligning retail energy, local priorities, and strategic programs with budget and resources.
- Assisting with management of the marketing budget, including sourcing quotes, creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Collaborate with agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality creative assets on time and within budget.
- Analyse insights and research data to understand customer needs.

- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience across event delivery, brand marketing, digital content, and social media
- A customer-first mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and deliver results
- Clear and effective communication, with solid execution and attention to detail
- An understanding of digital platforms, research and customer insights
- Relevant marketing qualifications or experience (formal qualifications are great, but not essential)
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment
