Right now, we're looking for a dynamic, commercially savvy mid-level Business Analyst to join Telstra Purple in this newly created, business critical position. As a Business Analyst with Telstra Purple, you'll provide proactive analysis, deep understanding of individual and Telstra Enterprise commercial strategic alignment. You'll develop data driven insights to inform decision making with a view to ensure alignment of commercial management.

The role:

  • Responsibility for the maintenance of key data sets central to contract and financial management, including monthly reconciliations and generation of regular reports
  • Ad-hoc analysis on customer and vendor agreements data as required
  • Collate and define management of vendor agreements for Telstra Purple Managed Services
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to negotiate expectations and timeframes
  • Establish commercial dashboards to provide Telstra Purple Managed Services with quantitative measures
  • Advise on automation and digitisation opportunities as required
  • Define and execute service improvement program for management of managed services commercial agreements (customer and vendor)
  • Support the adoption of automation and digitisation into the ways of working, leveraging best practice from other B2B programs.

Skills and experience you'll need to be a success in this role:

  • Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Business, IT or an analytically rigorous discipline and a minimum 3 years of related job experience
  • Expert competency in data manipulation and complex analysis
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint 
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive within a dynamic, ambiguous and complex environment
