Join us on the leading edge of innovation, as we help our clients navigate to a brilliantly connected future.
About the Role
We're currently expanding our capability to deliver high quality UX and UI design solutions end-to-end. This means we're working with clients to define the right problems to solve, defining and creating products, and delivering solid UX and usability in agile teams.
As a Senior Designer, you'll help to deliver innovative solutions for our Tier 1 clients, improve their design practices and educate teams in a range of design aspects. More specifically, you’ll:
Build strong relationships with design team members
Cross-collaborate with people outside of your capability in building solutions that delight and inspire our clients
Ensure client satisfaction is off the charts
You’ll work on a wide variety of client projects, and across all stages of the design process. We work on web and app projects, as well as those for new and interesting technologies like voice, bots, AI, augmented/mixed reality and whatever comes around the corner next.
We're looking for great all-rounders – people who can help our clients with all their diverse design needs. Our team covers the full spectrum of design – from strategy to front-end delivery and all the skills inbetween. While we certainly don’t expect you to cover all of these areas, we do look for folks with a breadth of experience and a couple of specialisations.
You may have experience with a few of the following:
Analysing and synthesising research findings
Communicating outcomes of research, using a range of methods
Creating rapid prototypes to explore concepts and test them
Creating wireframes, storyboards and diagrams to show how a solution hangs together
Creating high-fidelity designs and design systems
Working closely with a development team during delivery
Creating HTML/CSS for responsive sites
Using whatever software that gets the job done (Sketch, the latest prototyping tool, Sharpie)
Ideally, you’ll have worked in a client-facing environment (freelance, agency, consulting, part of an in-house consulting team, etc.), have experience working in an agile environment - beyond just the ceremonies - and be an active and life-long learner.
Not to brag, but we provide some pretty compelling benefits, including:
a focus on work-life integration - we understand life happens when you're busy making other plans
16 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers; 6 weeks paid parental leave for secondary carers
access to our Purchased Annual Leave scheme
access to paid leave to develop yourself professionally (e.g. attending conferences, purchasing courses, etc.)
a Telstra 20GB mobile hotspot
an epic (free) Telstra mobile phone plan
a sizable Toolkit Allowance to purchase devices of your choosing
discounted Telstra Products and Services
We're after the right blend of experience and enthusiasm, and look for cultural add, rather than cultural fit. We benefit from the unique gifts and backgrounds of each person in our business, and push for diversity of thought in all we do.
If you like the sound of us, hit apply! We'd love to learn about you.
