The SIT-SCTP Career Coaching Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the employability outcomes of adult learners enrolled in SIT SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SIT-SCTP). This position spans the full learner-to-employer journey—from providing career advice before enrolment to coaching learners for job readiness and securing job opportunities through active employer engagement. The role contributes directly to SIT’s employment placement targets and ensures data integrity for funding and regulatory reporting. It is central to strengthening SIT’s positioning as a career-focused lifelong learning institution.

This role is integral to ensure that all engagements and related activities are managed efficiently to uphold the brand reputation of SIT.

As SIT’s lifelong learning division of SIT, SITLEARN champions stackable and standalone Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses to working adults of all ages who are keen to upskill or reskill, whether to enhance their current role or transition into new industries. Designed with applied learning elements, our courses are developed in close consultation with industry and professional bodies to ensure continued relevance to workforce needs. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on a research project where you will be part of the research team to develop yeast and fungi for food ingredient and biochemical production. The specific goals are: 1. Metabolic engineering of Yarrowia and Candida yeasts for organic acid production 2. Design and optimization of fermentation method in 10L and 100L stirred tank vessels
