The Command, Control, and Communications Division (C3D) within the Sensor and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) in Smyrna, Georgia is looking for candidates to lead the C3 Rapid Electronic and Electromagnetic Designs (CREED) Branch.
The Electrical Engineer designs, develops, and tests electronic circuits fabricated to support a wide range of programs. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer utilizes electrical circuit design and analysis tools to layout and model circuit performance.
The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer works closely with research, development, and testing teams to combine simulation modeling with data analytics in order to provide recommendations to optimize system designs in support of current and future research, development, and testing efforts. Specifically, the M&S Engineer is responsible for constructing computer simulation models, verifying and validating simulation models, performing simulation experiments to predict system behaviors, providing solutions to project stakeholders, and improving systems and processes.

The Cyber Security Software Engineer requires extensive knowledge of programming languages, software development, and computer operating systems in order to apply engineering principles to software creation. The necessary skill areas for the Cyber Security Software Engineer include programming and coding, fundamentals of computer science, design and architecture, algorithms and data structures, information analysis, debugging software, and testing software. The Cyber Security Software Engineer also creates novel cyber security technology components and software to ensure that critical systems and information are resilient to cyber exploits and attacks. The researcher also performs attendant vulnerability assessments, analysis, and software engineering and design. The Cyber Security Software Engineer also develops hardware and software prototypes, and tests those prototypes in realistic environments.
The Software Engineer designs, develops, and tests software applications and products. Additionally, the Software Engineer manages software development teams, provides technical leadership, and establishes software development lifecycle practices and processes.
GTRI’s Cybersecurity, Information Protection, and Hardware Evaluation Research (CIPHER) Lab seeks co-op for the Fall 2024 semester.
The Process Improvement/Value/Quality Engineer works as part of a team developing approaches to improve enterprise-level sustainment of DoD and commercial aircraft. Analyzes aircraft sustainment processes, tools and datasets, creates updated processes and toolsets and employs continuous process improvement practices. Analyzes organizational culture and IT infrastructure related to the sustainment and maintenance of aircraft, and defines capabilities, processes and technical gaps as they relate to readiness and sustainment.
The Embedded Systems Vulnerability Division (ESVD) within CIPHER leverages extensive expertise in hardware, software, network, and RF communications to identify and evaluate cyber vulnerabilities in military assets, industrial control systems, and critical infrastructure systems. CIPHER researchers participate in Department of Defense working groups on cyber vulnerability assessments and collaborate with Georgia Tech faculty on the security of IoT and critical infrastructure systems. They have evaluated a wide range of systems from aircraft and radar simulators to smart grid and building management systems.
The Sensor/EW Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer is responsible for developing hard real-time embedded systems software for use in radar, EO/IR, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and other electromagnetic applications.

The Division supports work across many branches of the Department of Defense (DoD), including the Army, Navy, and Office of the Secretary of Defense. This position will specifically support the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) program. ARAT's mission is to ensure the ongoing relevance of legacy radars and systems within the intricacies of modern warfare.
