Assistant Farm Manager, Carvel Education and Research Center Georgetown, DE
The Assistant Farm Manager at the Elbert N. & Ann V. Carvel Research and Education Center supports the Farm Manager in coordinating all field research and extension projects conducted on-site and at affiliated off-farm research locations. This position provides leadership for the operation of the Warrington Irrigation Research Farm and plays a central role in managing precision agriculture systems, research data coordination, and personnel training. Working closely with faculty, staff, and students from the University of Delaware’s Newark and Georgetown campuses, the Assistant Farm Manager supports the Farm Manager to ensure that projects are efficiently planned, implemented, and documented. This includes coordination of field operations, maintenance of precision ag equipment and software, and management of the center’s data systems to support ongoing research and demonstration programs.

Human Development and Family Sciences in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Delaware invites applications for a Temporary Faculty position in Early Childhood Education (ECE) to begin Fall 2026. We seek an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced professional who will serve as a role model and mentor for undergraduate and graduate Early Childhood Education students. As a temporary 9-month faculty member, the successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate AA and BS early childhood courses. This is a 9-month full-time appointment beginning September 1, 2026.
Academic Advisor II, College of Health Sciences Newark, DE
Under the general direction, the Academic Advisor II is responsible for providing academic advisement services to students in the School of Nursing (SON). The advisor works cooperatively with the Department Chair to set goals and propose solutions to advising issues that affect the quality of services to students in the SON. Knowledge of curriculum options, degree requirements, academic policies and procedures for advisement of students in the majors housed in the SON is necessary. The position will assist with course registration, senior checkout, student programming, related undergraduate student activities and orientation session as necessary. The Academic Advisor II helps in the development of programs and events for prospective students and supports programs and University wide initiatives for entering freshmen and transfer students.
