| The Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology invites nominations and applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor (nine-month academic year appointment) in biomechanics or a related field, with preferred research expertise in musculoskeletal modeling. The candidate must have strong potential to develop an innovative and extramurally funded research program that will complement the Department’s ongoing research areas, particularly in biomechanics and neuromotor control. A candidate’s ability to leverage existing research infrastructure and contribute to established campus research centers and programs is also a strength. The successful applicant will also contribute to the Department’s teaching efforts at the undergraduate and graduate level. The teaching load will be appropriate to allow the candidate to pursue and establish a rigorous research program. |
