The group of Prof. Lars Gundlach at the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware, is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy. The project involves the design, development, and commissioning of a novel 2D THz spectrometer. The spectrometer is being developed to study dynamics in novel magnetic quantum materials developed as part of an MRSEC center at UD. This postdoctoral position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a well-funded project with state-of-the-art laser technology.
School of Nursing, Adult Health, Continuing Track, Assistant Professor Faculty Position	Newark
The School of Nursing in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Delaware seeks an experienced, innovative, and highly motivated candidate for a 9-month, continuing track assistant professor faculty position to join our faculty that includes nationally recognized leaders in clinical practice, education, research, and policy. In addition, the desired clinical area of expertise includes Adult Health Nursing with simulation experience preferred. Expectations also include participation in scholarship and service activities. Faculty are encouraged to teach in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs and contribute to a welcoming campus environment. Qualifications for an Assistant Professor continuing track include a doctorate degree with PhD prepared preferred, U.S. RN licensure, Delaware RN licensure eligibility, and a record of successful teaching experience (including online) in undergraduate nursing programs preferred.
Environmental Health and Safety Tech I	Newark
The Environmental Health and Safety Tech maintains and performs duties associated with hazardous waste related programs at the University to assure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and to achieve the optimal control or reduction of the hazards and exposures which are detrimental to people and/or property.
Director, Marine Operations*	Lewes
Under limited direction of the Director of the School of Marine Science and Policy, the Director of Marine Operations is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and administration of the R/V HUGH R SHARP, R/V JOANNE DAIBER and the small boat fleet, marine operations staff, and the vessel’s instrumentation and equipment.
Communications Manager, Center for Disabilities Studies	Newark/Hybrid
The Communications Manager has primary responsibility for the management of the CDS Communications Team, including supervision of the full-time Digital Content Specialist and engagement with UD graduate students and miscellaneous wage personnel. The Communications Manager works in collaboration with CEHD’s Communications Director and Team to ensure that the Center’s marketing and communications re appropriately optimized and aligned with UD policies and best practices for consumption by a variety of audiences, including national, state and local constituencies.
