The Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego (USD) invites applications for adjunct positions in the Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence (MS-AAI) program, with an appointment beginning in Fall 2026. This is an on-campus position requiring the selected candidate to reside in the San Diego area. The MS-AAI program is delivered in accelerated 7-week course blocks, and all instruction occurs in person at USD. Courses in the MS-AAI program are centrally designed and maintained; adjunct faculty are expected to deliver and facilitate the provided curriculum rather than develop new course content.

The Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of San Diego (USD) invites applications for a nine-month contract teaching faculty position to provide in person instruction to begin September 1, 2026. There is a possibility of a renewal of the contract after the first year. This position is a full benefits-based position and requires face-to-face student instruction. Candidates from all areas of specialization will be considered. Immediate instructional needs include but are not limited to: electromechanical systems, circuits, electronics, embedded systems, electrical power, digital design, signals and systems, electromagnetics, microwave engineering and communications. In addition to some of these areas, the department is also interested in candidates who have a background or interest in intelligent systems. Selected candidate will be expected to teach courses equivalent to 9 – 12 units per semester.
