Candidates with academic and industry experience specializing in contemporary journalism practice are encouraged to apply. Candidates will teach a lower-division course Comm 220 “Journalism and Public Relations” and an upper-division course, Comm 493 “USD Media Practicum.” In addition, there are a variety of opportunities to teach other journalism courses, including but not limited to, Comm 421 “Multimedia Journalism.” The required and total teaching load is 5 courses per year. Course content should align with goals of the student media experience.

Basic assembly and disassembly of furniture. Inventory tracking of furniture supplies. Proper and safe storing of furniture. May be required to assist with swimming pool maintenance and other duties needed to support the University.
