The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position for an Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving. This position will support all aspects of the Marist Swimming program including recruiting qualified student-athletes, coaching and instruction of student-athletes, monitoring and supporting academic progress and progression toward a degree, and alumni and donor engagement. This position typically identifies and recruits academically and athletically elite student-athletes, partners with the head coach to build a cohesive team culture, partners in scouting and producing videos to prepare the team for competition and develops and maintains effective relationships and communication with students, colleagues, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, members of the media and the public. This position will also participate in budget management, financial reconciliation, team fundraising, may assist in game day management, and may coordinate summer camps and clinics, including paperwork, customer service, and financial reconciliation. |

Primary duties include teaching undergraduate courses within the Fashion Merchandising major across the Fashion Business, Fashion Promotion and Product Development concentrations.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

This is a tenure-track position in management.
We are seeking faculty members able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management, human resource management, OB, and related subjects. Marist faculty are expected to maintain a robust program of disciplinary research resulting in peer-reviewed publications. They also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as an Assistant/Associate Professor for the fall 2026 semester.
We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for our faculty is 21 credits, typically distributed as a 3:4 course load. Applicants should have an active research agenda that leads to high-quality peer reviewed publications and presentations. |
