The School of Communication & The Arts invites applications for Part-Time Faculty, Music for the 2025-2026 academic year. Opportunities to teach multiple/additional courses may become available. Successful candidates will teach, develop course materials, assist students as needed, and assess student work.
Individual may be asked to teach the following:
• MUS103L - Sight Reading - This course develops the student’s skills in reading, singing, and hearing musical intervals, chords, and rhythms by means of musical notation and keyboard.
• MUS255N - Select Treble Choir - auditioned treble voiced choir of 16-30 voices. Intended for singers seeking an intensive choral experience. This group rehearses twice weekly, studies challenging literature for treble choir, and gives numerous performances during the year.
• MUS320N - Private Studio: Piano - private piano lessons for students with intermediate to advanced skills. Course geared toward recital at the end of each semester.

This position will focus on teaching coursework related to the area of neurological and limb loss rehabilitation, however opportunities to teach multiple/additional courses may become available. The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, & Physics at Marist University invites applications for part-time faculty to teach General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and/or Physics I Laboratory in Fall 2025. Opportunities are available for both lecture and laboratory courses, with all instruction conducted in person.
We are especially seeking instructors with availability to teach lab sections during the following times:
Chemistry Labs:
Mondays, 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Tuesdays, 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Fridays, 2:00–4:45 p.m.
Physics I Lab:
Thursdays, 2:00–4:45 p.m.
An additional Tuesday afternoon lab (2:00–4:45 p.m.) may be offered depending on enrollment.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and additional teaching opportunities may become available in future semesters.
Lab courses count as 3 credits each.
