Quinnipiac University seeks an Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball to assist the Head Coach with program management including coaching, administration, coordination and recruitment of a collegiate Women’s Basketball program. This position will serve as the recruiting coordinator for the women’s basketball program and will also focus on the total development of the basketball student-athlete. |

Responsibilities: |
- Assist the Head Coach in managing and directing the basketball program
- Assist with team planning, including training, coaching, competing and scheduling
- Lead the Player Development Program for each student-athlete
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of recruiting evaluations both domestically and internationally
- Maintain adherence and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and university policies
- Other duties, as assigned

Education Requirements: |
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience may substitute for some of the above education
|
Qualifications: |
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous successful Women’s basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college level
- Experience in recruiting is strongly preferred
- Experience with the administration and coordination of a collegiate Women’s basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete is preferred
- Proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the national basketball community
- Ability to manage a 2-3 hour practice
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds
