Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop, cultivate, and manage relationships with hiring managers and candidates to provide service excellence and staffing expertise. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the hiring needs, build targeted sourcing plans and work with the hiring managers expectations along the way. Pre-screen, interview, and manage full cycle recruiting process. Assist with coordination and participate in system-wide recruiting events and initiatives, including open houses, job fairs and nursing school career days. Use social networking platforms (i.e., LinkedIn groups and other online forums) to promote employment brand messaging that drives traffic to open roles by establishing and promoting positive relationships. Develop workforce strategies which include internal and external research and data analysis to identify drivers around recruitment and retention strategies. Develop and execute innovative search techniques to generate a pool of candidates necessary to staff open positions. Source highly qualified nursing candidates to meet customer requirements by implementing extensive searching, networking, and screening techniques. Other duties as assigned. |

The Radiation Safety Technologist assists with and supports the radiation protection program in a research hospital setting. Performs radiation survey measurements, analysis of wipe tests, receipt and processing of radioactive materials, lead apron inspections, and related record keeping. Maintains operational and calibration records for all radiation detection instrumentation. Coordinates decay in storage radioactive waste program. Assists with operations of the radiation dosimetry program. Serves as a member of the Radiation Emergency / Disaster team. Responds to and remediates radioactive material spills and emergency radiation safety events. |
