| 6I Medical ICU MICU Critical Care seeks passionate and driven individuals to care for a wide variety of critically ill adult patients which often have multiple diagnoses that include but are not limited to: pneumonia, sepsis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, disturbances in cardiac rhythm, and multi-system organ failure. The complexity of care that is delivered by the nurses in the MICU requires staff to be highly compassionate, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast paced, yet highly supportive teaching environment. |

| 8G Cardiac Stepdown is a private 19 bed unit that cares for a combination of surgical and medical patients with cardiac and thoracic needs. The patient population consists of pre-operative cardiac surgery patients and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, thoracic surgery patients, heart failure, heart catheterization, stent placement, pacemaker and AICD placement, watchmen procedures, cardioversion, and other vascular surgery procedures. The step down unit transitions patients from the ICU and prepares them for discharge. Patient education is ongoing during their stay. |

| 9E Neuro ICU Critical Care is a specialized unit that provides nursing care for critically ill patients with disease processes affecting the central nervous system. The Neuro ICU is part of the region’s only academic medical center and of the Comprehensive Stroke Center. We serve one of the largest geographical regions in New York State which ensures we are consistently treating a wide range of neuro critical care patients. We are looking to expand our team to include exceptional individuals that have a commitment to the neurosciences, critical care and high standards of care.
